Angela Salazar, RDN, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She pursued her university studies here in Southern California, earning her B.S. in Food Science & Nutrition from Chapman University. From there she continued on to finish her education in Nutrition & Dietetics from Cal State University, Long Beach. Finally, she completed her Dietetic Internship at Cal Poly Pomona.
Most of Angela’s career has been clinical as she has worked as a clinical dietitian in the hospital setting with several patient populations with various disease states.
For the past 7 years she worked with the pediatric population where she obtained her Board Certification as a Pediatric Specialist. She brings forth this experience to assist our clients with their clinical conditions and takes pride in encouraging our adults, children, and families to make healthier food and lifestyle choices.
She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and is active in her local Nutrition chapter in Orange County. She and her husband reside in the Orange County area where they enjoy, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family & friends. Angela sees our clients out of our Long Beach location.
